National security inspection service project of XX bank

Help customers grasp the current status of network protection in the entire bank, update the existing inspection matrix, and improve the assessment system for each branch.

Background

To fully grasp the information security risks of the bank, meet the classified protection requirements of the financial industry, and improve the overall security guarantee ability, the XX bank needed to conduct cybersecurity inspection on all branches throughout the country. However, as its own security team could not fully support this work, and the bank needed to introduce a third-party security service provider to help it complete the security inspection.

Solution architecture

Based on the actual requirements and current status of the customer, Topsec has worked out the following solution:

1) Information security inspection matrix

Topsec updated the original inspection matrix of the head office, incorporated the requirements for the classified protection of the financial industry into the inspection matrix, expanded the original inspection scope, optimized the inspection methods, refined the inspection dimensions, and increased the inspection depth.

2) Assessment system

Based on the customer's degree of concern on different aspects, Topsec assisted the customer to establish a quantifiable assessment system for each branch.

3) Comprehensive inspection of branches

Topsec implemented standardized inspection processes and methods for 30+ branches of XX bank according to the information security checkpoints formulated in the early stage, scored according to the evaluation indicators formulated in the early stage, and quantified the inspection results of each branch.

Help the customer understand the gap between the network status of each branch and the classified protection requirements of the financial industry, and provide basis for the follow-up compliance work.

Help the customer update the existing inspection matrix, and output a total of 200+ checkpoints in 12 categories from the three major fields, including security management, security O&M, and security development.

Improve the assessment system for each branch

Help the customer improve the assessment system for each branch and output 40+ evaluation indicators for assessment.
