Topsec Silent Hunter Lab

Team members of this lab perform profile analysis on global advanced sustainable threat organizations from dimensions including the group timeline, group TTP, attack capability, impact scope and hazard analysis, infrastructure analysis, and Malware analysis, and publish advanced threat group research report to important target customer groups.

This lab leverages open-source intelligence, private intelligence, VT hunting, and Topsec security devices to track the activities of advanced threat group in cyberspace from multiple monitoring dimensions. The researchers focus on the network intrusion activities targeted at China, analyze the attack means, intentions, and victim groups, and timely issue warnings to national regulatory authorities and possible attack objects to avoid or reduce the harms caused by potential security incidents.

This lab closely monitors key Advanced Threat groups in the global cyberspace, analyzes their attack intentions and the scope of victim groups, conducts in-depth tracking and analysis of attack activities that cause major social impacts, and provides users and regulators with warning notices in a timely manner.

The security operation research goals of this lab include accumulation of techniques in security attacks, threat detection, analysis, research and judgment, disposal, and traceability and tracking of security development trends. It empowers security operation capabilities in forms of traditional products, consulting, services, or regional empowerment operation center, to help users to implement integrated security operations.
