Solution

Topsec multi-branch network security solution is composed of three key components: TopSDWAN-CPE (customer premise equipment), TopSDWAN-GW (provider's security gateway), and TopWSC (security controller).

TopSDWAN-CPE is deployed at the edge of a small branch network, serving as an edge access gateway to ensure the network connectivity and stability between the local branch and the headquarters, other branches, and the R&D center or public cloud. It also provides advanced security protection functions.
TopSDWAN-GW is deployed at the egress of headquarters data center, secondary headquarters egress, or egress of the R&D center or public cloud, serving as an edge access gateway to maintain reliable, secure network services together with CPEs.
As a security controller, TopWSC is deployed in the headquarters data center to manage CPEs and GWs, record logs, and control user access in a centralized manner.
The entire solution provides a range of functions, such as multi-line convergence, intelligent QoS, application recognition, network acceleration, user authentication, network security, and centralized management. In addition, the solution achieves zero-touch provisioning of branch networks, seamless VPN connection from branches to the headquarters, automatic link detection, and automatic link switching. These features greatly optimize egress traffic and ensure the stability of core services on branch networks, without increasing the bandwidth and private lines.

Quick Provisioning and O&M

SD-WAN CPE and GW devices can be automatically registered through a USB flash drive or email to go online quickly. The management platform can obtain initial network configuration and related policies for centralized configuration capabilities for online devices. This model saves much time in network O&M, reduces O&M costs, and achieves centralized management and control of network risks for branches.

Optimized Routing for Applications

The solution precisely classifies application traffic through accurate application recognition, and selects routes for application traffic based on quality of links that it detects actively, achieving load balancing for the applications. Its intelligent routing capability guarantees bandwidth for key services.

Professional Security Protection

The solution leverages two powerful virus detection engines, an accurate attack detection engine, and an integrated intelligent filtering engine, in combination with its abnormal behavior analysis and traffic scrubbing capabilities, to block security threats at the network edge. Thus, personal privacy of users and Internet access security of enterprises are well protected.

High-Speed VPN Connection

Topsec SD-WAN uses a high-speed VPN hardware architecture in combination with software features such as VPN bandwidth guarantee for intranet services and intelligent routing for applications, to significantly alleviate problems such as inadequate VPN performance and low performance in application traffic transmission. All these enable stable, reliable, high-speed access to applications without increasing bandwidth.
