Topsec Diting Lab

Reverse analysis of malicious terminal code, threat warning, traceability, and anti-virus technology

Lab Overview

Topsec Diting Lab is the virus analysis and response team of Topsec, dedicated to security research and threat detection such as reverse analysis of malicious terminal code, threat warning, traceability, and anti-virus technology. Established in 2020, this lab was an emerging lab for terminal security and gathered professional technical researchers to provide comprehensive technical support and vulnerability analysis and response for Topsec terminal security products and overall solutions.

Virus analysis

This lab performs reverse analysis on APT samples, popular malicious code, rogue software, and other malicious programs to trace them, obtain samples, analyze them in depth, extract features, and accurately detect key threats, providing high-value virus analysis results and defense methods.

Anti-virus technology research

This lab studies escape, shelling, and immunity technologies for new types of viruses and develops defense methods and relevant tools. It also pre-researches new technologies such as malicious code group analysis and attack chain analysis for terminal products.

Threat warning

This lab detects and analyzes threat events related to malicious code of high-risk terminals and provides decision-making required context for incident response, security warning capabilities, and intelligence output capabilities related to malicious code to help Topsec build security operation centers with a threat intelligence platform.

Breakthrough in Important Core Technologies

Topsec Diting Lab has participated in and undertaken many national, provincial, and ministerial key cybersecurity scientific research projects, including the National High-tech Research and Development Program (863 Program), the Torch Program, and several national-level technology breakthrough projects. It provides a large amount of technical support and technology breakthrough for the CNCERT/CC, the China Information Technology Security Evaluation Center, and regulatory agencies.
